World Cup Countdown

Adam with Rebels on the Road in DC

It goes without saying that New England is more than Whoopie Pies and lighthouses. It’s the people who live here, whether they were born down the road or came here from around the world to settle in the Greatest Region on Earth. We see it every game in our tailgate lot, and so with that global event that brings the world together happening in our home stadium only 10 weeks away, we thought we’d spend those next 10 weeks highlighting our members who embody that diversity and sense of togetherness that we all share in Rebel gear in New England.

For our first week we meet Adam Banat from Massachusetts!

How long have you been a Rebel?

I’ve been a Rebel for 3 years now.

What made you join?

I joined as I started to gain more interest in supporting the Revolution on away days and joining the Rebels gave me the opportunity to do that with other die hard members of the Club.

What’s been your favorite Rebellion memory?

The haunted mansion away trip for DC, iykyk

Other than the US National Team, who else do you support in International Soccer?

I support my nation Lebanon in international soccer as that is my identity and the culture I’m surrounded with. No matter their performance they will always be my country.

Why? Where in Lebanon is your family from?

Because my family is from Beirut, Lebanon, born and raised. But I was born in the U.S.

What are you most looking forward to during this World Cup?

I’m mostly looking forward to being able to finally have festivities in the U.S. as we don’t take this tournament as serious here when it comes to watch parties, fan fests and other extra curricular activities.

Check our socials next week to get to know another Rebel!
