Rebellion Start the Season Strong

In a year sure to be filled with excitement and memories for American soccer fans, The Rebellion wasted no time in getting off the ground running on the 2026 season as we had several exciting events even before our Revs kicked off against Nashville.

To kick off our season, we had a booth at the Season Ticket Members Welcome Event where Rebel eBoard and HQ members greeted attendees, and we had a Prize Wheel where, with much excitement, season members could win all sorts of prizes from Rebellion keychains and stickers to raffle tickets with the chance to win Rebellion scarves and supporters cup jerseys! It was also an opportunity to meet old and new Rebellion members, and an opportunity to showcase what our group does, why the Rebellion community is so much fun, and why it’s such an exciting season to be a part of it.

On the Tuesday before the season opener, Rebel Members were invited to participate in an intimate meet and greet, and Q&A session, with new Revolution manager Marko Mitrović at Six Strings Grill in Foxborough. Rebel members were able to hear Coach Mitrović personally explain his motivations for joining New England, his philosophy on soccer and life, and why he is so excited about what this Club can accomplish. Members were then able to ask Coach a range of questions from his views on the role of supporters culture in soccer to the trophy opportunities that lay before the Club in 2026. Rebels were left excitedly buzzing about the new manager and the excitement inherent this summer.

The Rebellion saw a huge turnout at our Watch Parties at Flynn’s in Mansfield and Boland’s in Worcester. The excitement the meeting with Coach Mitrović generated was evident in the fans that turned out with fellow Rebels to have a beer and cheer on our Boys and Blue on the road. Of course the results weren’t exactly what we all had hoped for, but the opportunities to suffer together with fellow Rebels and New Englanders is what it’s all about!

We also had a group of #RebelsontheRoad on our first group road trip of the season. 15 Rebels went down to Jersey to watch the boys in action. They also got to witness the team coming over for an end of game moment with them. The heart and talent is evident and we are excited for the future.

Thanks for coming out to any or all of these events, and if you weren’t able to, we’re excited to see you at the next one!
Huzzah and Go Revs!
