In the wake of the USWNT’s crushing success in last year’s Women’s World Cup, and leading up to (hopefully!) Olympic Glory this summer, there has never been more buzz surrounding the amazing female athletes that grace pitches across the United States.
Have you ever wondered how you can get in on some of the action, support our Girls in Blue on a local level, and learn more about NWSL in the process? You’re in luck! The Rebellion is squading up to invade Jordan Field (formerly Soldiers Field) at Harvard on Sunday, May 1st to watch our local Boston Breakers face off against the Portland Thorns.
We’ll be sitting with the Breakers’ local supporters group, The Armada, and watching a clash between two talented teams that feature some of the most brilliant women in the sport. From Tobin Heath to Whitney Engen, the NWSL features a star-studded cast who are sure to open your eyes to the level of talent in our own backyard. There’s no better way to bask in the glory of both present and up-and-coming heroes while getting your dose of Sunday Soccer among fellow Rebels.
(Plus... isn’t it about time we start to get used to visiting a stadium in Boston?)
Discounted tickets are available now in our Travel store and are going fast. Purchase soon to be sat in our reserved supporters section.
